HP Zeen: A Serious Case of WHAT THE HELL?

  1. You can only get it bundled with a printer….
  2. It [barely] runs Android, even though HP just spent $1.2 billion on Palm, presumably for their WebOS (otherwise, why did you buy them, HP?).
  3. I say “barely” because they have cut several of the normally included Android apps (such as GMail), and there’s no access to the Android Marketplace, so you can’t add your own apps.
  4. Did I mention it only comes bundled with a printer? The only way this could make less sense is if the printer included in the bundle was running WebOS, which is probably not as far-fetched as it should be.
