LOST references in the iOS game "The Incident"

by Thomas Brady

Okay, I read Neven Mrgan’s blog (a couple of them, actually). I know he’s a big LOST dork, like me. So when I first heard the name of the game he co-created with Matt Comi was going to be called “The Incident,” I was already suspicious that this was a LOST reference.

Yes, I’m a huge nerd.

Well, I was right, or so it seems. And here are the additional LOST references I found in the - very fun and worth $2 - game. Please submit more if you find them:

1) The name of the game itself: also title of season 5’s two-part finale.

2) The opening scene:

There are two here that I see: Hanso’s (Alvar Hanso/The Hanso Foundation) and 815 (flight 815 and “The Numbers”: 4 8 15 16 23 42).

3) Hurley’s:

4) Also in that image above, just right of center at the bottom: the countdown timer from the Swan Station.

That’s all I have so far.

Except that there’s also this (not LOST related, but cool):

Just right of center of that screen is a Flux Capacitor. I believe it’s called “Time Machine Parts,” in the trophy room. Awesome. Love the Magritte painting, too.
