HP voted with its pocketbook. It’s all about focus

That’s Jon “iPod” Rubinstein speaking with Financial Times about why HP will, in fact - no srsly this time we promise, not be releasing an Android tablet or smartphone. Focusing on WebOS, however, somehow still means releasing a Windows version of the tablet.

So, HP backed away from trying to sell tablets with 3 different operating systems, but only took one step back from that ledge.

HP needs to do less voting, less hedging of bets, and more original thinking.
