This tuner… doesn’t seem to be working the way… it’s supposed… to…. Well, you know what they say, ‘it’s a poor workman who blames his [EXPLETIVE] tools.’
— Steve Martin, while tuning his banjo for about the 11th time last night in concert. Fantastic show. The only surprise of the evening for me: Steve doesn’t do well with interactive crowds (or what I presume he assumes are hecklers). He said something about new strings, and when an audience member asked loudly “How new are they?” he screwed up his face, shook his head, and said “I don’t know what you said, but I don’t care.”
