Listening to: Ideal Soul Mart

by Thomas Brady

You know how it is. A co-worker mentions he’s in a band. At least in Austin, this doesn’t mean much. Everyone here is in a band or four.

9 times out of 8 it will only result in pain if you, out of the kindness of your heart, decide to show some solidarity and attend one of your co-worker’s shows.

Then there’s that time that you go and it’s freaking awesome and you end up buying an album or four from iTunes.

Adam (my former co-worker), as I understand it, is scaling back his day job to focus on music. I think this is wise. He’s a phenomenal front-end developer; it’s true. But as nice as it is to work with talented people, I’d rather be listening to his music. : D
