The eBook industry is about to get really interesting

I’ve been waiting for this. Apple was pretty silent about whether they would allow iBooks to interpret javascript embedded within books prepared for its iBookstore (iBooks are in the ePub format, which is itself a container for HTML that does support HTML 5, CSS, and javascript).

This author just had success submitting a book to the iBookstore that contained some interactive features that rely on javascript:
