I think once they figure out how to bolt Skype’s voice and video over IP and firewall traversal onto Lync the SMB market will have found their collaboration soul-mate.

Or, as a co-worker pointed out, they could pull a Hotmail and drive all innovation and charm right out of Skype.

$8.5 billion sure is a lot of money. Seems like they have some big plans for Skype.
